I was cleaning my office and I found a poster I completely forgot I had.
Yes. This is the actual CompUSA vision statement. I bought it when they were going out of business. Complete with CompUSA price sticker. I find that part particularly delicious.
Items 1 and 2 didn’t seem to go well for them...

9. Stop using stupid script typefaces for big chunks of text we want to be readable.
In any event, I really can’t say I miss Co mpUSA so I guess they failed. I think I bought the MechWarrior 2 Titanium Trilogy there, so that was sort of a reason for being, but a pretty niche one.
